B20 (20% Bio Diesel 80% Mineral Diesel)

B20 is an alternative diesel fuel created by mixing regular petroleum diesel with biodiesel produced from products such as used cooking oil (UCO).

The B number indicates the percentage of biodiesel.

That means B20 Biodiesel is a blend of 20% biodiesel and 80% petroleum diesel.

Although biodiesel can be used at any mixture, including 100% biodiesel, the B20 mixture is considered a typical blend for normal use in conventional diesel engines.

Blends of up to 20% Biodiesel meet the Australian Fuel Standards (Automotive Diesel) Determination 2001.
